Congratulations Michelle and Steven.

Another beautiful day at the Muckenthaler Mansion in Fullerton. One interesting note for the couple is Michelle is an Angels fan and Steven is a Dodgers fan. Both picked out plenty of 80s music to dance to and their guests had a great time. Their Grand Entrance song was YOU’RE THE BEST from the Karate Kid (80s version) soundtrack. I knew I was at the right place this evening. We had a great time.

Congratulations Christopher and Teresa.

Today we were at the Calamigos Equestrian Center in Burbank.  The wedding was held at the San Fernando Mission and everyone gathered here for the recepti0n.  For cocktails, the guests gathered in the back garden as they enjoyed music from a guitarist. One of the highlights of the night were during the toasts when one of the Best Men (there were two) was giving the toast as if he were the comedian George Lopez. I waited til the end of his speech and started playing Low Rider in which everyone got a kick out of it.

Congratulations Jane and Marcus.

Today was a beautiful day at Strawberry Farms in Irvine, California.  The ceremony was held on a beautiful lawn by a driving range surrounded by hills. Afterwards, everyone entered the barn for the reception and cocktails. Jane and Marcus put together a great music list for the guests to enjoy and they did.

Congratulations Amanda and Seth.

What a wonderful couple!  Both have been very warm and welcoming to me and couldn’t thank me enough for being their MC/DJ. It was a very important evening for not only were they becoming one but their families were travelling to the wedding and meeting the other sides for the very first time.

Congratulations to Norah and Daniel.

It was a beautiful day at the Summit House in Fullerton. The ceremony music was provided by a string quartet.  After the ceremony every one entered the dining hall for the reception and also enjoyed cocktails outside. Not a whole lot of dancing but there was much socializing and it was a wonderful day.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARY!

What a beautiful setting to have your birthday on the beach. The party started around 6p and boy did it get COLD during the sunset. Everyone went inside and I was outside by myself playing music to the seagulls.  Around 8:45 the sun was down and the wind stopped blowing and everyone slowly came out of the house to dance on the beach. Too bad the party ended at 10pm.  Mary definitely had a good time as she grabbed my microphone and sang along with her friends to her favorite 80s tunes.

Congratulations Rachel.  Tonight was Rachel’s Bat Mizphah celebration at her home in Newport Beach.  Outside the driveway had a lavish red carpet which led to the garage. Inside the garage were tables of candy and a photo booth for the kids to dress up and have a variety of pictures taken.  Kids also had the option to play some Guitar Hero and the new DJ Hero to see if they have what it takes. Of course, the first thing they did with DJ Hero is try to scratch. Everyone had a great time especially the parents when it came time for the video montage. Tears were running.
